Niko Christopoulos
Niko advises on matters of corporate law since 1998.
Before founding Christopoulos Consultancy in October 2010, Niko has been a corporate lawyer at two big Dutch law firms. In addition, he has been working as a corporate legal counsel at the unit M&A and private equity of a large Dutch bank.
Niko has a clear focus on rendering advice in respect of both M&A transactions and corporate governance. M&A related advisory services comprise the provision of legal support to e.g. investors and/or (management of) companies during acquisition processes (including both share and assets deals) and participations.
In addition, Niko regularly advises on the setting up of efficient corporate governance structures, providing for clear rules as to (division of powers between) management, supervisory board and shareholder(s). He is frequently asked to act as a sparring partner of management, supervisory directors, shareholders and investors.
Niko has extensive experience in reviewing, drafting and negotiating different sorts of contracts.
He has also published articles on various matters of corporate law (see chapter Publications).
